Ah, Taiwan the land of good food, temperate climate and affordable shopping and...have I mentioned abundance of good food? Oops by now, you've probably guessed my main objective of the trip. Nevertheless, girls are still allowed to go GaGa over dresses, shoes and bubble teas though.

Alright, so I have been slacking when it comes to posting new entries recently. However, I have perfectly legitimate reasons for this. Recently, I have been heavily involved in mantaining a farm

in Bentong Pahang. Bentong is located on the Titiwangsa montain range and is only 1 hour from KL city. Although just an hour away, Bentong is surrounding by dense highland jungle, fresh cool air and icy cold mountain streams. Anyways, more on Bentong on the later postings.

White Water Rafting Gopeng

Thinking of doing white water rafting? Perhaps you should consider Sg. Kampar in Gopeng, Perak. Kampar river is rated to difficulty level of 2-4 and is approximately 7km long depending on the rainfall. This means that it is very suitable for beginners to moderate rafters. For the more experienced rafters, they would have it easy but the scenery surrounding the river is well worth the trip as well.

I was looking for a new book shelf as the current one I have is long overdued. As usual, the very first place I look for a furniture would be in IKEA (Left), don't we all? I went there on a weekend but luckily it wasn't too packed. The trip was fruitful because I found something that catches my eyes and its name is Expedit.

Standard Chartered KL Marathon 2010

I joined the Standard Charted KL marathon 2010 that was held on the 27th of June. This is the second time I'll have joined a marathon, the first time being the Energizer Night Race. Previously I have ran the 10km and this time, I've registered for the 10km category again because I believe this is my current limit. The marathon has the usual categories of 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km. The difference between this marathon and the Energizer race is that I'll be running in the morning as opposed to at night.

Krabi Thailand

McDonald Thai Style

Sawadee-kap! My greetings to "Mr. Chairat McDonalds" from Krabi which I hope he will never ever greet me back. This is Krabi Thailand and it is absolutely one of the most amazing place I have been to with white sandy beaches, spires of limestone karst and turquoise seawater. Now, I've not even mention about the delicious food and the uber friendly locals. I couldn't possibly describe the beauty of this place without including many pictures because some scenery just can't be described with words. Once you have seen the pictures, then you'll understand why.

Day 03 Macau Two Temples and a Chapel

This is the last day of our trip in Macau. After this, we will be heading to Hong Kong. The main agenda of the day is to meet up with my brother's friends from Macau. Of course the most appropriate place to meet them would be none other than a restaurant for breakfast. My brother's friends have recommended Jin Yue restaurant for dim sum (Top). Yippie, another dim sum treat for me.
